Hot Bread Kitchen (HBK) brings diversity in it's bread, it's baking staff, and to the markets throughout NYC. I enjoyed a tour of HBK on Tuesday to not only see the range of food being made under one roof but to taste the amazing breads made onsite enlightening me to a whole aspect of bread I'd been missing.

I helped judge a round in the International Chocolate Awards Americas a couple weeks ago. The grand jury finalists were announced and will be setting off to compete on a larger stage. I have to say while I must keep mum on the details of judging, I had a great time and got a new respect for the act of truly tasting chocolate.
